As the youngest child of Harold Loyd Helm, oldest of the children of Robert and Cloa Helm, I have volunteered to edit a family newsletter called the HELM FAMILY HERALD. It will contain the latest updates of the HELM FAMILY REUNIONS, as well as articles about different significant events and happenings within the families. The newsletter will also feature a column called FOCUS ON A FAMILY, where different families will be spotlighted so we can all become better acquainted before the next reunion. Robert and Cloa Helm had eight children and twenty-eight grandchildren. I used to have the family lists and contact information for the "28" linked here under each "House of Helm." I have since felt that the presence of those lists on the web compromised family and individual privacy rights. While it was my intent to build a communication network between the "28" so we could rekindle those relationships that we had as kids, and build new ones that we never had before, I believe we can still accomplish that without private information being put into the public doman. ***Any family members may contact me at my email and request contact information and I will send your requests onto the families for their approval. I will periodically send lists out to family heads asking for their updated information so I may continue to keep my files for family contact current.
